This is my first ukulele video. I’ve been playing the uke for a few years. I was first inspired by friend Ralph Shaw and the members of the Vancouver ukulele circle. Distorted uke has a lot of possibilities as I hope this video of Born to be Wild will show. This is one of the songs my band is currently playing at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. I first performed this song on an acoustic uke at the Vancouver Ukulele Circle, and later at Summer Spaces 2009. The distortion is a recent addition.

The second video in a series of videos I’m posting here upon viewers’ and friends’ requests. I felt compelled to do this Cat Stevens classic after watching the season-ender of Skins.
