I purchased this ukulele case to protect a Martin soprano ukulele (approx. 21″ in length). This is a great case made with excellent quality. The interior is very well padded with a velcro strap to protect the uke and hold it securely. Note that the length of the padded compartment is slightly larger than my uke (approx. 22″ in length), but the velcro strap holds it in place. Also on the inside, it has a small enclosed compartment (approx. 5″x3.5″x1″) that sits under the uke to hold picks, extra strings, etc.
The case closes very securely with a two zippers that are then covered over by a velcro flap. The exterior of the case is padded fabric that covers a hard, plastic shell. Having a plastic shell underneath is nice, as it prevents the ukulele inside from being crushed or damaged. It has a padded handle so you can carry it like a suitcase or a strap so that you can put it over your shoulder. On the outside it has a zippered pocket (approx. 13″x9″) that can be used to hold papers, pens, etc. I also use it to hold my tuner. The pocket is slightly too small to hold sheet music or books without folding them over. Finally, it has rubber feet on both the bottom and back sides, which is a nice touch when resting it on the ground or laying the case down to take the uke out.
Overall, this is an excellent ukulele case that I highly recommend to anyone.
