Where can I buy a good ukulele for beginners?

I know I could check Amazon or Ebay, but I was wondering if there are any recommendations for a good beginner ukulele? I’m thinking about picking one up and learning how to play.

my best advice would be to look on Amazon or ebay or any music shops around where you live, while you’re there you might as well buy some porn because you won’t be getting laid anytime soon.

Well, you don’t say how much money you have to spend, but definitely check out the Fluke and Flea ukuleles (see links, below), they’re just great, and VERY popular, and, while you’re on there visit their “Marketplace” page to see their listings of used ukes, and also join their free “Bulletin Board” where lots of VERY friendly ukers would love to help you find a good beginner’s instrument!

    Good luck!…

    Olivia,
The best ukulele for the buck is a Lanikai LU-21C. It’s the concert size, has a real mellow tone, will project better, and the frets are farther apart which make it easier to chord. Also, it has machine/gear tuners, like those you see on a guitar, which makes it easier to tune.

    Have fun,
