So, I want to buy a baritone ukulele and learn to play it. I’m not sure what I should be looking for. Good place to buy them? Best number of strings? Any tips?

  1. Hound Dog Taylor Fan says:

    WHERE
There is an eBay seller named musicguymic.

    WHICH BRAND
Something in the ‘starter’ category such as Lanikai or Kala. Skip the Rogue brand baritone and pay a bit more.

    STRINGS
You want a uke with four strings. And you should consider Aquila brand strings.

  2. Woodshed says:

Get a baritone with four strings (it’s rare for them to have any more than that).

Best buy for a beginner is a Kala KA-B
