I’m buying a baritone ukulele (mostly for the cheapness) and I was wondering what are the best brands.

good brands and cheap…
yeah, I’m the same way.
how cheap you talking here?
if you are trying to do 100 or less, then you don’t have that many options
from cheapest to expensive. not nessesarily the best brands, but a common beginner uke is a makala.

Has all sizes of Lanikai ukuleles at the best price around. Why a baritone? The baritone is the first four strings of a guitar….so if you play a guitar then your set and won’t have to learn new chords. But if you play a ukulele, or want to learn, then go with the concert or tenor b/c the frets are farther apart and easier for chording.
The standard tuning for ukuleles is GCEA.
I play all four sizes but have changed the strings of my baritones to GCEA, the standard tuning of ukuleles, so I wouldn’t have to learn guitar chords to play them.
Can’t go wrong with a Lanikai. Great ukuleles at a great price.
Have fun,
