How tight are the strings of a ukulele supposed to be?

And how do i know if my ukulele is tuned correctly? I’m starting to think i bought a sucky uke.
Oh, and how hard are you supposed to press to play a chord?

    look for tuning videos on youtube?
    shouldnt be hard finding one

    when you press against the frets, press hard. also press the fret on the right side, so that your finger is just behind the metal bar.

    you know your pressing hard enough if it makes the desired noise.

    first get a tuner and check out some online videos which could help. There’s tons of free videos from people on this stuff.
